There’s been a lot of controversy around Elder Scrolls Online’s addons recently, and while Zenimax did severely limit some of the potential capabilities addon developers are still hard at work creating helpful ones. The default interface is very minimalistic, somewhat optimized for console gamers and as such has certain downsides. Regardless of your opinions on addons there are a few which are very useful, and here’s some which I’ve been using so far!
For info on how to find and install addons jump to the end of this article.
1. Wykkyd’s Framework
Wykkyd’s Framework has been extremely helpful for me. It adds a bar showing your character’s level and XP bar, amount of Soul Shards, mount feed timer, clock, zone you’re in, available and used bag space and several other pieces of information which are very useful to see at all times.
While the information it provides can be found otherwise, having it up the entire time has been a real time saver for me. Constantly opening my inventory to see how much space I have left or checking character stats to see experience progress to next level can get tedious after awhile — with Wykkyd’s Framework you can choose to display all or just some of these stats all the time. Not crucial to have by any means, but something that I feel should definitely be on everyone’s to-do list.

2. ZrMiniMap
This is one of those add-ons that’s simply a must-have for anyone who thinks immersion is just another buzzword. I played without a minimap for a couple of days, and as soon as I realized this feature existed I never looked back. It’s a very simple addon that does exactly what you think: adds a small version of your map to a customizable place on your screen. Navigating to quest givers, public dungeons or wayshrines becomes (surprisingly) a lot easier, so ZrMiniMap is one addon you should definitely consider installing.

3. Craft Research Timer
Another self-explanatory addon. To see research timers normally you’d have to visit a crafting station and check it manually: no more, as Craft Research Timer allows you to view the exact time when your research for Clothing, Blacksmithing or Woodworking will be completed. Since research times will take an enormous amount of time maximizing your research downtime is very important, especially early on when they don’t take too long.
If you’re like me and trying to level all professions, keeping track of research times for 6 or even 9 different traits can get overwhelming, and Craft Research Timer will absolutely help with that. It’s certainly not the prettiest addon and I wouldn’t mind more customization, but it does its job effectively.

4. Foundry Tactical Combat
Though not for everyone, Foundry Tactical Combat is incredibly helpful for players who are often grouped or engage in Cyrodiil’s PvP combat. Scrolling combat text and buff tracking are just some of the features of FTC, and for everyone who feels they’re lacking combat information this addon should do the trick.

5. SpamFilter
Everyone who’s completely against addons in ESO, you’re now eating your words! Except for a rudimentary ignore list the developers didn’t seem to implement any kind of spam filters to keep unwanted (and annoying) gold spam messages from the zone chat, and there sure is a lot of it going around in starting zones.
I’m sure anyone will agree that this is one addon you absolutely want to have and keep updated, so be sure to install it and enjoy a spam-free experience.

![]() Finding Addons
The largest and most popular website for finding ESO addons is Esoui.com. Developed and maintained by Zam, Esoui has the biggest database of updated addons and if it exists, chances are you’ll find it there. Addons on Esoui are categorized into easy to understand sections like Action Bar, Combat, Tradeskill and similar, making finding whatever you need a breeze.
Alternatively you can use Nexusmods. If you previously played and used addons for Fallout, Skyrim or other single-player RPG games it’s not unlikely to know about Nexusmods. Their site and addon download manager also supports Elder Scrolls Online, and while their mods database isn’t as large or updated as Esoui’s it still has the most popular addons.
Installing Addons
There are two options for installing ESO addons. First solution is to manually download files and copy them to your ESO’s folder, which you can find in “My Documents” > “Elder Scrolls Online” > “Live” (or “liveeu” for european client) > “AddOns”. Simply paste the appropriate addon files to this folder and if necessary activate them once you launch the game. Instructions should also be provided in every addon’s readme files in case you need additional help.
Alternatively, you can install Esoui’s Minion which will handle downloading and installing addons for you. It’s a small downloadable app which will make adding and removing ESO addons a breeze and I highly suggest checking it out. It’s way more convenient and as safe as it can be.
There’s plenty of other addons which are fairly helpful such as EsoHead Markers, Research Assistant, Inventory Grid View, Multi Quest Tracker and more, and I advise you to explore and find ones you want yourself. In time I’m sure we’ll see plenty of other helpful addons, and I for one am excited about it. Default interface has its limitations, and I’d rather have Zenimax developers working on new content and leave user interface to the community.
Despite a fairly small but vocal part of the community being against addons there’s no denying they can make your gaming experience much more pleasurable. There’s nothing forcing to use any addons if you don’t want to, but fortunately for everyone who prefers convenience and functionality over “immersion” (sigh) there’s quite an active addon development community working to make our lives easier.
So what’s your preference, are you using any addons? If the answer is yes, give everyone your recommendations below!

Hello!
My name is Zero. This post has two purposes: for my guild to have a place to see which addons are available to them, and to create a decent collection of addons for others to benefit from. I've been playing since Vanilla and have tons of experience with interface issues. I like addons and I want to share what I have learned with you all, so I'll be going over the Essential addons first, followed by a Minimal UI setup - with and without ElvUI. After that, I'll unleash the full package and end it all with a few cool niche addons that have their own specific uses.
Before we get into the addons, I want to bring up Curse. It helps make keeping your addons up to date, as well as finding new addons, sooooo much easier. If you're going to have more than 3 addons, you'll save time and reduce stress by using Curse. Highly recommended.
The Essentials (in ascending order):
These are the fundamental addons that I would recommend everyone get at 110.
Most of these addons have alternatives (which I will list later) but these are my recommended, most reliable choices that I have come across.
IMPORTANT NOTE
Minimal Setup (No ElvUI):
Minimal Setup WITH ElvUI:
The best part of ElvUI is that it replaces all of the default UI along with the addons from the Minimal Setup group. It's easy to use & set up, relatively lightweight, fully customizable, absolutely beautiful, wicked smooth, and enables my OCD hardcore with the amount of fiddling potential containedinside thisincredible UI. You can also save a profile and use it across all of your characters, which helps when you have too many alts or you're starting a new character! I personally use ElvUI, alongside all of the addons in the Essential 13 and Full Package groups. I'm a bit of an addon fanatic. :P
For a Minimal Setup using ElvUI, I would recommend using ElvUIobviously, the Essential 13 minus Bagnon, and Leatrix Plus!
Full Package: Upgrade sql server 2008 to 2012 step by step pdf.
-I personally use or have used all of the addons on this list and can vouch for their awesomeness. This is complete list of the addons I would recommend to someone who is looking to improve their UI dramatically.
Niche:
-Leveling-
-PvP-
-PvE-
-Professions-
-Collectors-
-Misc.- Key license gom player plus.
Alternatives:
Edit: In regards to the comments about WQT vs WQL, I say have no fears! I'll be trying WQL out tonight and potentially adding it to the list! And as far as DBM vs BW goes, as I've said in the comments, I have not personally tried BW as DBM has always been such a mainstay in the groups I run with. I'll be trying BW out tonight in raids and reporting back with my recommendation, or at least an update of the text to include both. Also also, TANK YOU, KIND SKRANGER! My first gold evar, awwww shucks. :)

Best Kodi Addons 2019: YouTube
YouTube is an optional addon, found in the official Kodi addon repository. Once installed, you can find it in the Video addons section of Kodi’s addon menu.
From this addon, you can search for content, view channels and see the most popular videos. You can even sign into your account to get your personalised recommendations.

Another addon available from the official Kodi add-on repository, iPlayer WWW is a client for the BBC’s catch-up service.

Best Kodi Addons 2019: SpotiMC
Spotify is the best-known music streaming service, and SpotiMC is an unofficial add-on that brings it to Kodi. To install it, you need to download the Emby Repo zip file.
You can then use Kodi’s install from Zip file option, selecting the file that you’ve downloaded. When browsing through the file, the addon is found in Kodi Emby Beta Addons, Music add-ons, Spotify.
When you launch the addon on for the first time, you’ll have to authenticate your Spotify account in a web browser, giving SpotiMC access. After that, you can browse and play all of your music from Spotify.

Best Kodi Addons 2019: Plex
In many ways, Plex is a competitor to Kodi, so that this addon might seem a little odd. However, the combination is powerful, giving you the flexibility of Kodi complete with the power of the Plex media server.
Once installed, the Plex add-on lets you browse and play all of the content organised on your home server, just as you would from any other Plex client.
The downside is that the Plex Kodi addon is currently only available for Plex Pass Subscribers – presently charged at £3.99 a month. Plex has said that it’s looking to bring the addon to all users shortly.

Interface AddonsWhen you are competing in a Battleground, Arena, or any type of open player vs. player activity, it is important that you be able to see as much of your screen as possible since there is a flurry of action coming at you from all angles. Per a suggestion that I received from a friend on twitter, I downloaded Spartan UI in an attempt to clear up my jumbled interface. I’ve been very impressed with the sleek, open design and was excited to learn that Bartender4 was incorporated into this package. Spartan moves hotbars, party frames, the mini map, and other icons to the bottom of the screen which frees up a large portion of the viewing area. Since I use a variety of other addons, which will be mentioned later in this article, I need all the room I can get. My InterfaceUnit Frame AddonsBy now, most veteran World of Warcraft players are already using X-Perl to manage raid frames. This is extremely helpful for me as a healer especially in places like Wintergrasp where I’m surrounded by tons of friendly players in need of healing. X-Perl provides the ability to see players in range of you, organize players by group or class, and a host of other features. X-Perl has become invaluable to me in both raid and player vs. player encounters. Debuffs And Spell Timers AddonsAs a Resto Shaman, I am blessed with the ability to cure poison, disease, and curses. That’s a lot to keep up with especially when you are responsible for cleansing a large group of people. I’ve been using Decursive for awhile now and it is an essential component of my addon kit. It is another one of those programs that is helpful in any environment. Decursive brings up a grid with a space that represents each member of your party or raid. When someone is afflicted with a curable ailment, the corresponding grid displays a number with the amount of stacks needed for removal. It comes with a panel that allows you to prioritize the order in which the grid sections are displayed. For example, in a battleground you may want to list Warriors, Death Knights, and other DPS/Tanking types first so that you can keep them alive and pewpew’ing. You can configure the program to map your own class’ cleansing spell to a specific mouse button then you only need to click on the unit frame displaying the debuff stacks. An additional panel appears that lists names of all affected players and their current debuff. Another useful addon for battling fellow World of Warcraft players is Quartz which can be used as a spell timer to track cooldowns on abilities. For example, I try to use Hex whenever possible but have to wait 45 secondsbetween each cast. It has been very helpful being able to visibly see when Hex will be available to me again especially during frustrating moments of perma sheep! But no worries, Quartz also comes with the ability to set a focus so you can target that pesky mage and crowd control them as soon as you are released from Polymorph. ImagesArena Specific AddonsOne addon in particular has made my experience with Arena a little less frustrating since I no longer have to wait until I’m in range of an enemy to know what classes I’ll be facing. Gladius is a sleek enemy unit frame that shows the class, health, and mana of your Arena opponents. You can easily target your opponent by clicking on their frame. This definitely makes executing your team strategy of attacking the primary target much more efficient. Others prefer a similar addon known as Proximo. This is also an enemy unit frame with some additional features including the ability to focus your target via right click and low health announcements via specified chat window. Proximo & GladiusClass Specific AddonsThe World of Warcraft addon known as MutilateCrit totals the swings of the rogue ability “mutilate'. Drood Focus is a program that benefits Druids in both bear and cat form by showing the amount of lacerate stacks and combo points on an actual target. Warlocks will find DoTimer useful for managing DoTs, HoTs, cooldowns, and personal buffs/debuffs. Personally, I’m a big fan of Shaman Friend since it alerts me every time my shield and weapon enchants fade and also lets me know spells I’ve successfully purged from enemy targets. There is also an option to broadcast interrupted spells or the casting of Bloodlust and Mana Tide Totem to the chat window. I never go unbuffed with this friendly reminder. Drood FocusFor those with mod dependencies like me, World of Warcraft can no longer be played without addons such as these. The technical geniuses who are dedicated to creating and updating these addons do so voluntarily and without compensation. I want to personally thank you all for these contributions. These programs help us all take our game to the next level and save us a lot of time and frustration in the process. If you are really enamored with a particular addon, then I encourage you to donate some money to the programmer if you see the option available or take the time to provide a comment on the addon page sharing your appreciation for their work.
